About Me
For now, I am just a blobfish to you, unless you are someone with whom I'm comfortable sharing details about my life.
I live in the dark, cold waters of the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans, between 600 and 1,200 meters deep. That’s where I feel comfortable and safe from predators. I don’t like being disturbed by humans and their fishing nets.
I am not as ugly as you think. The famous photo of me that made me the world’s ugliest animal in 2013 was taken when I was dead and decompressed. In my natural habitat, deep in the ocean, I look like a normal fish.
I am an omnivore, which means I eat both plants and animals 😎
